SESSION IV RECREATIONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE (2/15 – 4/12)


To register for our Session IV recreational basketball League (Davie / Hollywood Florida) running February 15th  – April 12th, please complete the ONLINE REGISTRATION .  If you prefer to wait until evaluation day to register, there is an additional $30 Late Registration Fee.  All South Florida Youth Basketball League registrations must be completed online.

Season: February 15th, 2024 – April 12th, 2025

Cost / Fee: $225.00 Registration Fee (per player) / Includes Reversible Jersey

Team Practices: 3 Team Practices

Games: 5-6 Game Guarantee  

Registration fee: $225.00 (one-time) / $255.00 on/after December 14th

Please note that there is an additional $30.00 charge if you wait to register after the evaluation date which is February 16th.

Evaluations

ALL NEW and Returning League Member Evaluations for team placement will take place Saturday February 15th at The Davie PAL (Davie)  (see map). Davie PAL (Davie) address is: 4300 SW 57th Terrace, Davie FL 33314

All league members and prospective league members must arrive for evaluation at the beginning of their particular start time as indicated by the table to the right for your child's age group (see league tables below).

Practice & Games

Team Practice will take Place on EITHER Tuesday or Wednesday Evening. 

All  games will be played on Tuesday or Wednesday EVENINGS or Saturdays.

The Jammer division also plays games on Sunday afternoons in Ft. Lauderdale.  All teams are guaranteed at least 5 games.  

Tiny Hot Shot Division Teams will play their games in a half court, 3 vs 3 format

4 Pool play regular season games, 1-2 bracket play / Playoff Games 

Playoffs: Bracket Play (1-2 Games)

Coaches Clinic

A mandatory Coaches Clinic will be held immediately following evaluations at the Potter Park PAL Gymnasium at 3:00 p.m.

Practice Locations

Fee Schedule

  • Program Participants: $225 program fee ($255 on or after evaluation day).
  • Head Coaches Discount: 50 % or 1/2 of registration fee with prior approval.

League Awards

  • Each player will receive a Reversible Jersey & Solid color Short (Included in Registration Fee).
  • Optional Premium Shorts available (Additional Fee)
  • Optional Backpack available (Additional Fee)
  • Optional Compression Shirt (Additional Fee)
  • All players 8 and under receive a league award.
  • Champion and Runner-up in each age division.

League Forms

Game Referees

  • Ages 13 and under play on smaller courts with various lower rim heights and are refereed in “coaching style” by some of the areas top varsity basketball boys and girls.
  • Ages 14 and up play on high school regulation courts with certified FHSAA Referees using High School Rules.
