South Florida Youth Basketball League is in need of volunteer Basketball Coaches for our  2023 Session I recreational basketball league starting in August.  We are in need of experienced coaches for all age groups. Approved head coaches receive 50% discount off of their child’s registration fee. Four Step Coaching Application process.

1. Click on link and schedule your Background Check with the Davie PAL ($33.00 Cash Only)
2. Complete South Florida Youth Basketball League Coaching Online Application / Background ($23.00).
3. Complete SFLY Basketball League Coaches Application and return to Eugene via email: sflybasketball@gmail.com.
4. Create new acccount / log into your existing Sports Sports Engine account and register as a volunteer coach for current session. This will allow coach access to: team page, schedule and team communication portal.

All League related activities for the week of September 11th have been cancelled at both our Davie and Ft. Lauderdale location. There are too many of our league members / Coaches that are still without electricity and fuel. I am looking to push back the season by one week. Team practices will take place next week instead of previously scheduled games. The season will end on 10/28 (not 10/21). If any questions, please give me a call / text at 954-809-5131.

Our Ft. Lauderdale location Youth Basketball Academy for Monday (September 11th) has been cancelled. Our Academy is still scheduled to meet on Thursday 9/14.

All league related activities for tonight (Wednesday) have been cancelled. We would like for all of our league members to have ample time to prepare for Hurricane Irma. Please Be Safe!!
